A bride opted for an immediate divorce just three minutes after tying the knot due to her groom's 'rude behaviour'.

Reports said the incident occurred in Kuwait, where the couple had gotten married in a court.

According to the details, the sudden decision from the newly-wed bride came after the groom's harsh reaction when she stumbled and lost her balance while walking out of the court.

Instead of helping her, the groom ridiculed her and called his bride a "fool".

The bride, who was expecting sympathy and support from her newly-wed husband, felt disrespected and immediately returned to the court and requested the judge to dissolve the marriage.

The judge granted the divorce, ending the marriage in just three minutes.

The incident, which occurred a few years ago, has resurfaced on local social media.

Users justified the bride's decision, saying that a "man who cannot respect and protect his wife in moments of need cannot be trusted to do so for the rest of his life."

The incident is being described as the shortest marriage in Kuwait's history.
