“I thought it was nut or chocolate:” Man finds human finger in ice cream

In an unexpected and disturbing twist, a doctor was shocked to find a human finger in his ice cream cone, turning his sweet treat into a horrifying experience.

Dr Orlem Brandon Serrao, living on the outskirts of Malad area of India's Mumbai, and his sister ordered ice cream during online grocery shopping.

Eager to satisfy his craving, Dr Serrao began enjoying the ice cream, unaware of the horror that awaited him. As he was eating, he felt something unusual in his mouth. 

Initially, he mistook it for a nut, but to his utter disgust, it turned out to be a human finger.

A photo circulating on social media showed the finger popping out from the ice cream.

"I am a doctor so I know how body parts look like. When I carefully examined it, I noticed the nails and fingerprint impressions under it. It resembled a thumb. I am traumatized," Dr Serrao told the Indian media.

Taking swift action, the doctor placed the finger in an ice pack and contacted the police to report the incident. 

Authorities responded by registering a case against the ice cream brand for contaminating food and risking public health.

The police have sent the ice cream for investigation and the finger for forensic examination.
