Indian pilot makes emotional announcement for family on board

A touching video capturing an IndiGo pilot's heartfelt announcement for his family has stirred emotions across the internet.

During a flight from Chennai to Coimbatore, Captain Pradeep Krishnan made a special announcement before take-off, leaving passengers moved.

"I'm thrilled to share that I have my family on board with me today. My grandfather, grandmother and mother (Amma) are seated in the 29th row. It's my grandfather's first time flying with me. I've ridden in the backseat of his TVS50 countless times, and now it's my turn to give him a ride," Mr. Krishnan joyously announced in a blend of Tamil and English.

As the announcement concluded, his grandfather rose from his seat and graciously greeted fellow passengers, while his mother was visibly moved, wiping away tears amidst the applause.

"The greatest privilege for me. Fulfilling the dream of flying your loved ones and friends is something every pilot aspires to," Mr. Krishnan shared on Instagram, encapsulating the sentiment of the moment.
