Man bites off friend's earlobe during party brawl in India

A shocking incident occurred in a residential society in Thane’s Patlipada,, India, where a man bit off a part of his friend’s ear and swallowed it following an argument.
The incident took place on Wednesday morning during a gathering, according to the Kasarvadavali police station.
As per the complaint filed by Shravan Leekha (37), he and the accused, Vikas Menon (32), were at a party with friends when a heated argument broke out between them.
In a sudden outburst, Menon allegedly became aggressive and bit off a part of Leekha’s ear before swallowing it.

The police have registered a case against Menon under Section 117(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), which pertains to voluntarily causing grievous hurt.
