Mysterious 'Ice Rock' discovered in Saudi Arabia's scorching desert

A baffling natural phenomenon has been uncovered in the desert region of Saudi Arabia, leaving scientists and locals in awe.

A sunken rock, discovered in the Nazia Saada area, located at 180 km west of Hail city of the kingdom, remains extremely cold even in the scorching desert temperature.

According to reports, the rock was discovered by Saudi citizen Muhammad Al-Shamri, who shared a video of his findings on social media.

Al-Shamri stumbled upon the enigmatic rock while exploring the area with his friends. 

Locals had tipped him off about the strange rock, which Al-Shamri described as being "as cold as ice" despite the scorching sun, with temperatures often reaching up to 50 degrees Celsius.

The reason behind the rock's unusual properties remains unknown, but it has been a local sensation since ancient times. 

According to Al-Shamri, people from surrounding areas flock to the rock during the hot season to find respite from the heat.
