Umerkot boy climbs electric pole in protest after father fails to repair bike

A shocking video from Umerkot went viral, showing a young boy climbing an electric pole after his father failed to repair his bike, it emerged on Monday.

The youth reportedly expressed frustration over the broken bike, claiming that neither his father nor his brother were taking steps to fix it.

Police confirmed that the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) staff managed to bring the boy down safely.

However, the boy’s dramatic act left his family in distress, and initial reports have not confirmed whether he sustained any injuries.

The act was extremely dangerous and could have been life-threatening for the boy.

The video also highlighted the risks faced by HESCO employees, who climbed the pole to rescue him without proper safety gear, putting their own lives at risk.

A large crowd had gathered at the scene to witness the rescue.
