WATCH: Indian man's reckless stunts on speeding auto knocks off cyclist

Social media can be likened to a double-edged sword, harboring both positive and negative aspects. Regrettably, many individuals tend to misuse this platform to seek attention. Instances of people performing risky stunts on public roads to create social media content have become increasingly common. 

A viral video on social media platforms shows a man hanging out of a moving autorickshaw collided with an unsuspecting cyclist on the road. The incident was captured and posted on an Instagram page. Recorded from the helmet camera of a trailing biker, the footage portrays an autorickshaw navigating the busy Signature Bridge area in North Delhi, with an individual dancing to loud music inside.

The purpose behind the man's actions, whether for social media content or mere enjoyment, remains unclear.

In the video, the autorickshaw dangerously maneuvers past a Tata Ace pickup before abruptly veering into the left lane. The person hanging out of the rickshaw, facing the biker, is seen waving his hand and dancing, seemingly oblivious to the surroundings.

Despite adequate space between the autorickshaw and the cyclist in the same lane, the person hanging out fails to notice the approaching cyclist.

The biker, alarmed by the imminent collision, shouts a warning about the cyclist ahead. Unfortunately, the man hanging out of the rickshaw turns too late, resulting in a collision with the cyclist. The cyclist loses control and falls onto the road.

Although the biker promptly stops, the autorickshaw driver flees the scene without stopping. Fortunately, the cyclist appears to have suffered only minor injuries.
