In a remarkable display of quick thinking, an Indian student paraglided to his examination centre in Maharashtra’s Satara district to avoid hours-long traffic congestion.
According to reports, Samarth Mahangade, a student from Pasarani village, was in Panchgani for errands when he realized he had only 15-20 minutes left to reach his exam venue.
With heavy traffic blocking the Wai-Panchgani road, particularly in the Pasarani Ghat section, Mahangade opted for an unconventional solution—paragliding.
Adventure sports expert Govind Yewale from GP Adventures in Panchgani arranged the necessary equipment and ensured a safe flight for Mahangade, who soared over the traffic and landed near his college just in time for the exam.
A video of Mahangade flying with his college bag has gone viral on social media, earning praise for his creative approach to tackling urban congestion.
