Woman files police complaint against husband for not gifting her Saree

In a bizarre incident, a woman has filed a police complaint against her husband for not gifting her a saree of her choice, it emerged on Thursday.

According to Indian media, the incident took place in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, where the couple got into a fight over the saree. 

Local media reported that the couple's argument over the saree escalated into a fight, after which the woman sought legal action against her husband.

In the complaint, the woman alleged that her husband subjected her to physical violence during the quarrel.

However, the police intervened and sent the couple for family counseling, where the wife complained about not receiving a saree of her choice.

On the other hand, the husband claimed that his wife talks to anonymous persons on phone calls late at night.

After counseling, the husband agreed to give his wife the saree of her choice.
