Gold prices drop by Rs 9,000 in Pakistan

Gold and silver prices decreased on Tuesday in the international as well as the domestic markets.
According to All Pakistan gems and jewelers, the price of 24-carat gold per tola decreased by Rs9,000 to Rs514,762, and the price per 10 grams decreased by Rs7,716 to Rs441,325.
In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $90 per ounce to $4,920.
Likewise, the prices of silver also decreased. The domestic rate per tola decreased by Rs150 to Rs8,014, and the price per 10 grams decreased by Rs129 to Rs6,870.
Spot gold declined 1.5% to $4,918.65 per ounce at 0933 GMT after shedding over 2% in earlier trading. US gold futures for April delivery were down 2.2% to $4,937 per ounce.
Spot silver declined 2.5% to $74.63 per ounce, having fallen over 5% in earlier trading.
Spot platinum declined 2.5% to $1,991.01 per ounce, while palladium fell 3.1% to $1,670.92.
