Gold prices go down in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan decreased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold selling at Rs272,600 per tola, marking a decline of Rs800.
The price of 24-karat gold per 10-gram dropped to Rs233,711, a decrease of Rs685, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Similarly, 22-karat gold was quoted at Rs214,235 per 10-gram, lower than previous rates.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market. The price of 24-karat silver stayed at Rs3,350 per tola, and Rs2,872 per 10-gram.
In the global market, spot gold traded near $2,616 per ounce, up by $1.4 or 0.06% from the previous session.
Gold prices have gained in quiet holiday-period trading, with market attention focused on the Federal Reserve’s interest rate plans for the upcoming year and potential future tariff policies under former U.S. President Donald Trump.
