Gold prices rise by Rs1,650 to reach Rs319,000 per tola

The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs.1,650 on Wednesday, reaching Rs.319,000 compared to Rs.317,350 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs.1,415, trading at Rs.273,491 from the earlier Rs.272,076.

The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also saw an upward trend, rising from Rs.249,412 to Rs.250,700.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, with per tola silver priced at Rs.2,555 and 10 grams at Rs.3,047.

In the international market, the price of gold surged by $16, reaching $3,038 from $3,022, while silver traded at $33.79, the association reported.
