Gold prices rise by Rs400 per tola

Gold prices in the international market witnessed an increase of $2 per ounce, reaching $2,705 on Friday.

Following the trend, the local bullion markets recorded a surge in gold rates.

The price of 24-carat gold rose by Rs400 per tola, bringing it to Rs282,600, while the price per 10 grams increased by Rs342 to settle at Rs242,283.

In contrast, silver prices declined in the local market.

The rate of silver dropped by Rs27 per tola, closing at Rs3,406, and by Rs23 per 10 grams, settling at Rs2,920.

These fluctuations reflect ongoing changes in the international and domestic precious metals markets.
