Gold prices see big drop in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a sharp decline on Tuesday, following a downward trend in global markets.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,700 to Rs286,400 in the local market.
Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold fell by Rs2,315, settling at Rs245,541. This follows a Rs300 drop in the price of gold per tola on Monday, which had settled at Rs289,100.
Globally, gold prices also experienced a decrease, with the international rate falling by $26 to $2,741 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Silver prices in Pakistan also saw a decrease, with the rate per tola dropping by Rs32 to Rs3,363.
