Price of roti reduced to Rs14 in Lahore

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced on Twitter that the price of roti has been reduced and is now fixed at Rs14. She emphasized that the Punjab government has made further cuts to the price of roti in the province.

Maryam Nawaz criticized the previous PTI government, stating, “The wrong decisions of the PTI government had put roti out of the reach of the poor.”

The new pricing scheme sets the price of roti at Rs14 in multiple regions, including Lahore. In other areas such as Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar, the price has been set even lower, at Rs12.
