World's richest man Jeff Bezos earns over $7.9 million per hour

Amazon Founder Jeff Bezos has dethroned Tesla Founder Elon Musk to become the richest man in the world, according to a Bloomberg report.

Bloomberg, in its report, said that Bezos earned $23 billion in the two months of the ongoing year 2024, which amassed his total assets to $200 billion.

On the other hand, Musk came to second position after he suffered a loss of $198 billion following a drop in Tesla shares by 7.2%. 

Louis Vuitton Chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault is the third richest person with a net worth of $197 billion.

According to a report by Yahoo Finance, Amazon chief's net worth was raised by $70 billion to $177 billion from $107 billion at the end of the last year.

The report further added that Bezos earned an average of $7.99 million (over Rs2 billion) per hour in 2023.

His daily income was estimated at $191.7 million (more than Rs53 billion) every day in the previous year.
