'Sanam Teri Kasam 2': Makers announce release date

The highly anticipated sequel to the romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasam-2, featuring Mawra Hocane and Harshvardhan Rane, has been officially announced.

In a recent interview, directors Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao provided a significant update, indicating that Part Two is nearing completion and is expected to be released in theaters on Valentine’s Day 2026.

They confirmed that the script for the sequel has already been finalized, stating, “We are completely aware of the direction Inder (Rane) will take following this. This is why, at the conclusion of the first film, he approaches that tree, and Saru’s (Hocane) voice resonates with her lines, setting the stage for the sequel.”

The directors emphasized their readiness with the sequel's script.

"We aim to release it next Valentine’s Day (2026), as audiences are currently revisiting the first film this Valentine’s, and we want to deliver what they desire—the sequel—next Valentine’s,” they remarked, noting that the music for the film is also prepared.

“In summary, for all those who cherished Sanam Teri Kasam Part One, Part Two is nearly complete and is in the works,” they confirmed.
