Fact Check: Has Miftah Ismail said IMF loan was distributed among PDM members?

Claim:

Renowned journalist Imran Riaz Khan shared a news of a private TV channel claiming that the former finance minister during the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz-led government, Miftah Ismail said that the loan received from the International Monetary Fund was 'distributed' among the members of the PDM government and now the people are facing inflation. 

Fact: 

The source of the news shared by the journalist could not be found. Miftah Ismail himself took to social media platform X to refute the claim of the journalist.

Reacting to Riaz's post, Mubashir Zaidi wrote on his X account that Imran Sahib. The journalist must confirm the news. Miftah Ismail has denied any such statement.

He said that by posting fake posts, whatever reputation you had has also been lost. It is true that a trained 'company tout' can never really become a journalist.
