Pakistan’s tallest person Naseer Soomro passed away on Monday due to lungs infection, as per regional media reports. 

Naseer Soomro was admitted to a private hospital. The family members of Soomro  appealed to Sindh government 

In June 2023, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori also visited Naseer Soomro at his home to inquire about his health.

At 7 feet and 9 inches,  Soomro was the tallest man in Pakistan.

In 2021, Pakistan’s tallest man Naseer Soomro was promoted to the position of Senior Passenger Handling Services Officer in Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

According to details, the then Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the PIA, Air Marshal Arshad Malik presented a promotion letter to Naseer Soomro, a PIA worker and one of the world’s tallest man, at the PIA head office in Karachi.
