In a rare medical revelation, a family in Sindh has garnered attention for a genetic anomaly; all six members have hearts positioned on the right side of their chests.

The rare medical phenomenon was brought to light by a journalist, named Yousuf Kamboh.

The Qambar Shahdadkot family's rare medical condition spreads across generations from a 6-month-old baby boy to a 60-year-old woman.

The family includes Khuda Baksh Selro, the family head, his 60-year-old sister-in-law, two young sons, a 22-year-old daughter, and a 6-month-old grandson.

Talking to a private news channel, Selro claimed this is the world's only known family with multiple members possessing right-sided hearts.

The family has expressed a desire to be officially recognised by the Guinness World Record.

While globally only one percent of individuals exhibit this anomaly, the clustering of six family members with this trait has left experts astonished.

This rare condition is called Dextrocardia, a condition in which the heart is pointed toward the right side of the chest. Normally, the heart points toward the left.

According to medical experts, a complete mirror image dextrocardia with no heart defects requires no treatment.
