Emmad Irfani revealed to be great-grandson of Allama Iqbal's sister

In an intriguing revelation, renowned actor and model Emmad Irfani disclosed his familial connection to the revered poet Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

The Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum actor, who has been active in showbiz for two decades, had never before revealed his connection to Allama Iqbal’s family.

During his appearance on PTV’s program Virsa Heritage Revived, it was revealed that Emmad Irfani is related to the program's host, Mian Yousuf Salahuddin, maternal grandson of Allama Iqbal, as well as to the national poet himself.

While speaking to the audience of the program, Irfani expressed his joy at participating in the show and thanked the participants, including Sahir Bagga and Mehwish Hayat, for their performances, which made the show more delightful, and Sonia Hussain, who was hosting the show.

“Most people don’t know that I have a deep familial connection with Yousuf Salahuddin ,” said Irfani.

Echoing Irfani’s words, host Yousuf Salahuddin revealed, “Imad Irfani is the great-grandson of Allama Iqbal’s sister.”
