Aina Asif reveals she belongs to the Kutchi Memon community

Pakistani child actor and model Aina Asif, who rose to fame for her stellar performance in the drama Mayi Ri, opened up about her family background and her future goals in the entertainment industry.

She recently appeared on a show "Nadan Maizban" hosted by Nida Yasir, Yasir Nawaz, and Danish Nawaz, where she revealed that her father belongs to the Kutchi Memon community, while her mother hails from a Punjabi family. 

The young actress revealed that her paternal relatives live in America and that is why she does not know her father's mother language, Memoni.

"I want to tell you why I don't know Memoni, as my father's relatives reside in America and there is no one here in Pakistan with whom my father can talk in the Memoni language that's why we also don't know how to communicate in Memoni language," she said.

Sharing childhood anecdotes, the 15-year-old actress said that from an early age she wanted to become an actress and for this, she used to practice dialogues in front of the mirror.

Regarding her financial matters in the drama industry, Aina shared that her elder sister, Labeeb, oversees her finances.

"[...] My sister manages all my finances, and whenever I need money, I borrow it from her. Regardless of my earnings, she has set a monthly allowance for me," said the Baby Baji actress.

When questioned about her future profession, the ninth-grade student expressed her desire to become a physiologist.

On the topic of marriage plans, the young actress asserted that at her age focusing on education and career is her priority.

"I want to complete my education, O/levels, A/levels, university, and simultaneously, manage my drama career," she said.
