A legal notice demanding Rs180 million in damages has been issued to social media singer Kashif Rana, known as Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, for his alleged poor singing and defamation of the legendary singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

The notice, sent to Chahat Fateh Ali Khan's UK residence by Mian Muhammad Umair Niaz on behalf of Qaiser Munir Khan, was reported by 24NewsHD TV. It states that if Chahat Fateh Ali Khan does not respond within 15 days, a defamation lawsuit will be filed.

The legal notice accuses Chahat Fateh Ali Khan of tarnishing the name of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, offending the people of Faisalabad, and violating copyright laws.
