Cillian Murphy takes home Best Actor as "Oppenheimer" dominates Oscars 2024

With a star-studded red carpet, the 96th Oscars ceremony took place on Sunday night, where Cillian Murphy became the first Irish-born actor to win the Best Actor trophy.
"Poor Things" star Emma Stone claimed the Best Actress award while "Oppenheimer" dominated the glittering ceremony at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Hailed as Best Picture, "Oppenheimer" brought Cillian Murphy the Best Actor award, while Christopher Nolan won Best Director and Robert Downey Jr took home Best Supporting Actor.
The historical thriller won seven out of the night's biggest prizes, followed by "Poor Things" with four and "The Zone of Interest" with two.
