“Don't delay marriage for career goals,” advises Hina Chaudhary

Hina Chaudhary, known for her role in the popular drama series Tark-e-Wafa, recently opened up about her decision to get married before pursuing her acting career.

In a recent interview, the actress shared that she was already engaged before entering showbiz and wanted to settle down to dispel any doubts about her interest in marriage once she joined the industry.

During the interview, Hina discussed how marriage and motherhood impacted her life before she stepped into the entertainment world.

The College Gate actor revealed that her in-laws were close family friends, and she first met her husband while attending university, where he was an assistant professor.

Struggling with an Economics course, Hina failed in her first semester and sought help from her then-fiancé at her family’s insistence.

As they grew familar with each other, their families also became close, eventually leading to their engagement. Hina, then moved to Karachi to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.

“I was not getting any projects initially,” she recalled, adding that she considered returning home. However, her fiance encouraged her to stay and wait for the right opportunities.

The Honey Moon actor decided to marry before establishing herself in the industry to avoid speculations about her marraige. "When I finished my first project, people speculated that I would change my mind," she explained. "So, I chose to marry my fiance to prevent such rumours."

Reflecting on her journey, Hina asserted that her career gained momentum after the birth of her daughter. "Children bring their own sustenance. it is true, and I have experienced it," she said.

Hina also advised others not to delay marriage in pursuit of career goals, saying, "When you find the right person, get married. You can achieve your goals even after marriage."
