Drugs culture is a "dark reality" of our entertainment industry: Ahmed Ali Butt

Renowned actor and host Ahmed Ali Butt made a startling revelation about the prevalence of drug use in the entertainment and fashion industry of Pakistan.
He made the revelations during his YouTube podcast with fashion designer Ali Xeeshan.
In an interview, the host asked the guest about the prevalence issue of drugs in the entertainment and fashion industry.
"Ali when we see the plus side of fashion, there is a very dark side to the fashion. And we've seen some people go from this beautiful place also. Drugs culture... it has affected a lot of people from the fashion industry and from the entertainment industry," the Jutt & Bond actor said.
At this, the guest also said that the "crystal meth's curse" has spread like wildfire among his fellow artists.
Butt also shared that he has witnessed several talented individuals succumb to the pressures of the industry and fall into the trap of drug addiction, ultimately leading to their downfall.
However, Butt revealed that he has always stayed away from this culture in the industry.
"If you need to be in a cool crowd you also have social pressure to indulge in drugs... Alhamdulillah I've always kept myself straight in this matter. I was never into drugs," the Mr. Shamim star claimed.
His claim was also endorsed by the guest, saying "Yes I've noticed."
