I cannot stoop to Feroze Khan's level: Yasir Hussain on leaking phone numbers

Regarding Feroze Khan’s reckless act of leaking actors' phone numbers, Yasir Hussain revealed that after his own number was leaked on social media, he has been bombarded by calls and harassment from unknown numbers.

Yasir Hussain recently appeared on a podcast, where he candidly shared his thoughts on the relevance of award shows and the monochromatic storylines of Pakistani dramas.

The ‘Kukri’ actor also opened up about the challenges and rewards of being outspoken in the entertainment industry.

Defending his straightforward nature on a recent podcast, Yasir Hussain said, "Those who overthink the consequences before speaking can never truly speak their mind. If someone throws negativity my way, I'll respond in kind. I'm human before I'm an actor."

He delved into the controversy surrounding Feroze Khan and his wife Aliza Sultan's divorce, which resulted after latter made allegations of domestic abuse against her husband. 

Feroze subsequently faced criticism from fellow actors, he responded by filing a defamation complaint against those actors, sharing screenshots of a legal document containing celebrities' phone numbers on his Instagram account. Although he removed the post within ten minutes, it had already gone viral.

The ’Lahore Se Aagey’ actor revealed that he often receives calls from various people.

He mentioned that despite the issue, he chose not to change his phone number. The host then inquired, "You are straightforward; why didn't you respond similarly to Feroze Khan when he leaked your number?" 

Yasir Hussain replied, "There are ethical norms that everyone must adhere to, and I followed the same. Even in the showbiz industry, spot boys have our numbers, but they don't disclose them. Despite their limited knowledge and resources, there's an unspoken code of respect that everyone abides by, which Feroze breached." 

Yasir Hussain added that if Feroze Khan didn't show respect by leaking his number, he wouldn't stoop to the same level.
