Renowned film director Nadeem Baig opted for Hania Aamir to portray Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in a biopic. He noted that the two women share a striking resemblance.
Nadeem Baig recently appeared in an interview where he was asked about his preference for casting the role of Maryam Nawaz in a film based on Pakistan’s politics.
In response, the director struggled to choose between Ayeza Khan and Hania Aamir. Ultimately, he selected Hania, stating, "Hania bears a stronger resemblance to Maryam Nawaz."
Host Iffat Omer further asked the Jawani Phir Nahi Ani director about other prominent political figures. She inquired which actors, current or past, would be perfect for these roles.
When asked about Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) founder, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Nadeem replied, "He had an enigmatic personality. I would have cast the late Mohammad Ali to portray Bhutto."
He suggested that Mehwish Hayat would be an ideal choice to portray Benazir Bhutto.
Nadeem maintained that Hamza Ali Abbasi would be well-suited for Imran Khan's biopic and suggested casting Bilal Abbas for Bilawal Bhutto’s.
He opined that Sajid Hassan would be a good choice for President Asif Ali Zardari's biopic.
When asked about the Sharif brothers, Nadeem Baig suggested that Shaan could effectively portray Nawaz Sharif. For Shehbaz Sharif, he proposed the name of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan.
