Several high-profile celebrities have come under fire for publicly supporting Israel's military actions in Gaza, which have resulted in a devastating humanitarian crisis.
Israel has been bombing Gaza since October 7, in which thousands of Palestinians have been killed, wounded, and displaced due to the ongoing genocide.
At least 35,984 Palestinians have been killed and 80,643 injured in Israel's military offensive on Gaza since October 7, according to the health ministry.
Many A-lister celebrities, including actors, actresses, singers, fashion designers, models, and athletes, have faced widespread criticism on social media, with many accusing them of ignoring and justifying Israel's war crimes and human rights violations.
Netizens said that their support undermined the Palestinian people's right to self-determination and perpetuated a harmful narrative that ignored the disproportionate suffering of civilians in Gaza.
Fans also called to boycott the celebrities who have a soft corner for Israel's offensive in Gaza.

On May 24, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Israel to immediately halt the Rafah operation.
Neglecting the orders, Israel unleashed a massacre on camps sheltering displaced civilians in Rafah on Sunday, resulting in the deaths of over 30 people, including children who were beheaded and burned alive.
The Gaza Health Ministry confirmed that at least 35 civilians were burned to death and dozens were wounded in the attack.
The international community has largely condemned Israel's actions in Gaza, with many countries and organisations calling for an immediate ceasefire and a peaceful resolution to the conflict.
