Hina Rizvi snubs troll for derogatory remarks about Neelam Muneer

Actor Hina Rizvi snubbed a troll who made derogatory remarks about Neelam Muneer’s recent marriage, asserting that women have every right to choose financially secure partners.

Neelam Muneer recently tied the knot and shared glimpses of her much-anticipated wedding on social media. Fans, who had eagerly awaited details since her marriage announcement, got a peek into the intimate ceremony through her wedding pictures.

Although Neelam did not reveal her husband’s name, she posted photos of the couple dressed elegantly. The bride wore a stunning gharara, while her husband donned a traditional Arabic jubbah, both in coordinated white ensembles.

However, online trolls never seem to leave celebrities alone, even when they haven't said or done anything controversial. In this instance, a keyboard bully baselessly accused the actress of marrying for money.

The scathing troll received a befitting reply from actress Hina Rizvi, who defended Neelam and emphasised that seeking a financially secure partner is not only reasonable but also a woman’s fundamental right.

“If a woman wants to marry a financially secure partner, there’s nothing wrong with it,” she stated, adding, “A wife has the right to be financially supported by her husband after marriage.”

Hina further advised the troll, “You shouldn’t be making such remarks about any woman.”

Her response earned praise from social media users, who applauded her for shutting down negativity and standing up against online bullying.
