Renowned actress Hania Aamir has expressed her fears about the fame she has acquired from her social media fans.

In an interview with the BBC Asian Network, the host asked her about the reason for sharing her mental health issues with fans on her social media platform.

"The reason anyone goes public with challenges they face is because they don't want other people to go through the same things. They want them to know that the remedies are available and it was such a social taboo to talk about, it has been but not anymore thankfully Alhamdulillah,"  the Mere Humsafar star responded.

"I always say this that I get scared of the fame that I have because I feel like when I meet God what I'm gonna tell Him. What if He asks me what did you do with whatever I gave you and I have no answer? I just posted pretty pictures and that was it and I made a lot of money. It just didn't sit well with me," Hania added.

The actress emphasised her desire to spread positivity and make people happy through her work.

"So yes in any way that I can have a positive impact or can just make people laugh with stupid things that I post."

During the interview, the Sang-e-Mah actor also expressed her happiness to be a part of the cast of Pakistan's first Netflix series "Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo", but remained tight-lipped about her role and story in the series.
