I have been watching Bushra Ansari on TV since my childhood: Chahat Fateh Ali Khan

Popular comedian-singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan responded to the criticism from veteran actor Bushra Ansari by saying that he has been her fan since childhood and creates his own music without copying anyone.

Previously, Bushra Ansari criticised online users for promoting Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, labelling his content “disrespectful” to the art of music.

"I do not tolerate the exploitation of popular songs and music of the past in this way," she stated.

In a recent interview, Chahat Fateh Ali Khan was asked about his response regarding the criticism from the actor.

The viral internet sensation stated that he has been “targeted by numerous singers and that legendary actress Bushra Ansari has also joined in the criticism.”

He went on to say that Bushra had “started out in the industry as a mimicry artist,” whereas he himself “sings and writes songs.”

"The reason for my popularity is that I write my own tracks and produce their music, and people enjoy it," he added.

Chahat offered Bushra Ansari that if she didn't like his singing, “he could sing a song along with her."

“She started her career in entertainment as a mimic artist and used to perform comedic songs. I've been watching her work since I was a child. She fears that I might replace her but I won’t,” he asserted.

Chahat Fateh Ali Khan concluded by saying that he only wishes the best for his fans and critics alike and never takes negative comments to heart.
