'I smashed Yasir's laptop after he set heroine’s picture as wallpaper': Nida Yasir

Television host and actress Nida Yasir has addressed claims made by her husband, actor and director Yasir Nawaz, regarding incidents in which she broke a television and a laptop during domestic disagreements.

In a recent television appearance, Yasir Nawaz revealed that his wife has a temper and once damaged their electronics out of frustration. “Nida once broke our TV and my laptop in anger,” he said, explaining that the disputes stemmed from his late-night television watching and a disagreement over casting a female lead in one of his films.

Nawaz stated that he used to watch television late at night, which disrupted Nida Yasir’s sleep schedule due to her early morning commitments.

He also noted that his wife objected to him casting a certain actress, leading to further tension. According to Nawaz, these arguments eventually led to the destruction of his laptop.

In response, Nida Yasir shared her perspective on her morning show. She explained that repeated disturbances from late-night television prompted her to act. “I needed to wake up early for my show, but Yasir would watch TV loudly at night. I tolerated it for several days, but eventually I smashed the TV with a bottle,” she said.

Regarding the laptop incident, Nida explained that her husband would repeatedly tease her by using pictures of actresses as his laptop wallpaper. “He kept doing this for days, despite my objections. That’s when I lost my temper and broke the laptop,” she stated.

Nida concluded with a general message to husbands, urging them not to provoke their wives. “If they keep irritating their wives by making them jealous, they should expect consequences,” she remarked.
