Controversial writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, who was recently honey-trapped by a gang, clarified that he was held at gunpoint to record intimate scenes with a woman on camera.

An obscene video of the playwright was leaked on social media amidst the controversy surrounding his abduction by a gang after meeting a woman at her residence late at night.

The prime suspect in his kidnapping, Hasan Shah, revealed in an interview that he possesses a two-hour-long video depicting the writer in an intoxicated state with the woman.

He alleged that Qamar approached the girl, who is a model, and entered into a relationship with her.

In a recent interview, Khalil-ur-Rehman said, "If you watch the videos, you will understand that I was held at gunpoint and compelled to record explicit content with the woman."

He asserted that the suspects were also recording videos.

When asked why he had not disclosed the video earlier, Qamar explained that he had faced victim-blaming after the controversy.

The Pyary Afzal writer initially considered including the video in the FIR but was advised against it by the police due to the absence of another video as supporting evidence.

“Luckily we got it (the video),” which showed how they prepared to film it.” the Meray Paas Tum Ho writer said.

Khalil said he refused their demand to perform an intimate scene while being held at gunpoint.

He also accused the girl of being the ringleader of the gang involved in blackmailing him.
