'I wish I could bring this angel back': Shamoon Abbasi on daughter Anzela Abbasi’s birthday

Actor Shamoon Abbasi shared a birthday wish for his daughter, Anzela Abbasi, expressing a longing to bring back the version of her he once knew.

In a Facebook post, he wrote, “The Anzela I miss and knew, I wish I could bring this angel back again.”

He wished his daughter a life filled with humbleness and gratitude, stating, “Happy birthday Anju, may Allah keep you and your family on the path of humbleness and gratitude, Ameen.”

Anzela Abbasi also shared pictures from her birthday celebration on her Instagram, donning a mini dress paired with a fur jacket and long boots.

Anzela is the daughter of Shamoon Abbasi and Juvaria Abbasi. The couple tied the knot in 1997 and parted ways in 2010.

During Anzela's marriage in 2019, a social media post by Shamoon Abbasi ignited speculation about a strained relationship with his daughter.

Though he later deleted the post, it hinted at Shamoon's dissatisfaction with the wedding festivities, labeling certain individuals as "immodest and shameless." He expressed, “I never wanted to be associated with impudent and immodest, shameless people in my life, and I never will. Regardless of my relationship with them, I prefer to keep my distance. God, you are great, blessing me in disguise. Some physical damages save you from damaging your soul. God is great!"

In response, Juvaria Abbasi shared a cryptic message on her Instagram story: “A healthy mind does not speak ill of others.”
