Renowned Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas expressed her frustration over an alarming increase in cases of sexual harassment in the country's biggest city, Karachi.

In a recent incident, a hijab-waring woman was harassed by a bike-riding man in broad daylight in the port city on August 12.

The distressing incident was captured on Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) footage.

A man, in the viral video, can be seen blatantly groping a veiled girl, who was passing by in a street of a residential area in Muslim Town area of North Karachi.

A minor girl was also sitting on a bike with the suspect, as shown in the footage.

Reacting to the incident, the actress slammed the suspect for "raising another generation of harassers".

"Children are puppets. they do what they see. And this man on the bike is leading by example here for the child," she wrote in her Instagram story.

"I wish. I wish, I was allowed murders," the Parey Hut Love star added.

It may be noted that this is the fourth such incident of the year 2024, as multiple cases of street harassment came to light this year.

The suspects involved in the previous three cases were arrested by the police.
