Indian cinemas set to screen Pakistan's 'The Legend of Maula Jatt' in October

Indian cinemas are all set to screen Pakistani blockbuster film "The Legend of Maula Jatt" in October this year.

This will be the first film from Pakistan in over a decade to get a theatrical release in the neighbouring country.

The development was shared by the film's official Instagram page on Wednesday.

“The Legend Of Maula Jatt’s legacy lives on! Catch the cinematic masterpiece in Indian theatres from 2nd October 2024. Book your tickets now!” the post read.

"P.S. Cinema lists to be shared soon.”

Earlier in 2022, there were speculations about the film's release in India, however, the plans were shelved by both sides.

The Legend of Maula Jatt is Pakistan’s biggest motion picture that released in theatres in October 2022.

The film, starred Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi in lead roles, Rs400 crore at global box office.
