Indian Olympian Neeraj Chopra ties the knot with former tennis star Himani Mor

Indian javelin star Neeraj Chopra married former tennis player Himani Mor in a private ceremony. The news broke on Sunday when the Olympian shared glimpses of his wedding on social media, celebrating the beginning of this new chapter in his life.

Neeraj turned to Instagram to share gorgeous pictures of the nuptial ceremony. His post also accompanied a heartfelt caption, which read, 'Started a new chapter of life with my family.'

"Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after," he added.

The couple adorned traditional embellished wedding ensembles in a pastel theme of white and pink. The newlyweds also wore fresh rose garlands. They were photographed performing wedding rites.

The wedding ceremony of the duo was held in Shimla, attended by only 40 to 50 family members and relatives. Following the wedding, the couple flew to the United States for their honeymoon.

Indian media reported that Neeraj had kept his wedding a secret, and the wedding photos surprised fans.

The wedding news came after Neeraj Chopra clinched his second Olympic medal in August. He won the silver medal at the Paris Games.

In 2021, Neeraj won his first Olympic gold medal, defeating Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem. This marked the first time an Indian athlete had won an individual gold medal in a track and field event at the Olympics.

Since sharing glimpses on Instagram, Neeraj and Himani have been receiving greetings and congratulations from well-wishers.
