Renowned Indian TV producer and director Ekta Kapoor, known for her numerous hit soap operas, is reportedly planning a remake of the popular Pakistani drama series 'Tere Bin'.

Ekta Kapoor, often hailed as 'TV Czarina', has set her sights on remaking "Tere Bin," which is a testament to the increasing popularity of Pakistani dramas, frequently acknowledged even by Bollywood celebrities.

The stellar performances of Wahaj Ali and Yumna Zaidi in this popular show aired on Geo Entertainment made waves not only in Pakistan but also across borders.

The story of ‘Tere Bin’ centered around Meerab and Murtasim, two souls locked in a battle of egos, hate, and self-respect and ultimately coming to terms with their true feelings for each other.

According to Indian media, Ekta Kapoor has partnered with Indian TV channel 'Colors TV' for the remake of the drama serial.

Kapoor has roped in actresses Kanika Mann and Ayesha Singh to work in this drama.

The reports further revealed that Ekta Kapoor will retain the original title "Tere Bin" for the remake. The drama is expected to air on television from July this year.

Last year in December, the creators of the iconic drama announced its second season. The original lead actors, Yumna Zaidi and Wahaj Ali, will return to their roles, to showcase their captivating on-screen chemistry.
