Johnny Lever says world needs more leaders like Imran Khan

Bollywood legend Johnny Lever has praised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan for his philanthropic work and leadership qualities. 

The Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham actor expressed his admiration while interacting with Pakistani fans at a restaurant in Europe.

"Imran Khan Zindabad! People like Imran Khan are rare in this world," Lever said in the video.

"He [Imran Khan] built a hospital in his mother's name, and to think about your people is a big thing - he has this quality.

"We need leaders like him," he added.

When asked if Indians also admired Imran Khan, the Bollywood A-lister replied, "We all like him, brother. He is our favourite cricketer."

This isn't the first time Mr Lever has expressed his affection for the former prime minister and Pakistan.

Earlier this month, he shared the same sentiments for Imran Khan during an interaction with Pakistani fans at a local restaurant in London.

The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai starlet also shared his desire to visit Pakistan to meet his late friend Umer Sharif's family in Lahore.

Lever revealed he remains in contact with Umer Sharif's daughter.

He also praised legendary Pakistani comedians Moin Akhtar, Amanullah, Rauf Lala, and Shakeel Siddiqui. 

"Words cannot fully express my gratitude to Pakistani fans. I am thankful for their support."
