The entertainment industry in Pakistan was deeply saddened by the news of veteran actor Khalid Butt's demise on January 11. Recently, a poignant conversation between him and his grandson surfaced on the internet via WhatsApp. In this exchange, he candidly shared about his deteriorating health while expressing heartfelt love for his family.

In a touching voice note to his grandson, Khalid Butt, in his endearing Punjabi, expressed, "Thank you, Zahid Sahb. I myself do not understand how to tell you. I am unable to manage even basic tasks like going to the washroom. I can't even speak properly. A liver transplant is necessary as it has nearly stopped working."

The late actor mentioned, with a frail voice, that doctors had advised a liver transplant. He stated, "Tomorrow, I will visit PKLI with my reports, a facility known for liver and kidney transplants. My stomach has weakened considerably, and I am grappling with multiple health issues. I request your prayers for my well-being. While shooting my drama in Gilgit, I was sent home for 8 days, and I returned. Please extend my well wishes and heartfelt love to everyone in the family."
