“Mahira Khan has Marilyn Monroe’s charm,”: Fawad Khan

Fawad Khan expressed his admiration for his co-star Mahira Khan, drawing parallels between her aura and Hollywood's iconic movie star Marilyn Monroe. The on-screen chemistry between Mahira and Fawad remains evergreen, captivating fans who are always eager to witness their dynamic pairing.

Pakistan's charismatic superstar, Fawad Khan, who rarely comes into sight beyond screen appearances, recently made waves on social media with his interview. During the interview, he was asked to share his thoughts about co-actors and fellow celebrities.

When questioned about what Mahira Khan would have been if she hadn't pursued acting, the ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hair’ actor expressed that there's nothing else he could suggest for her as she's destined to excel in this particular aura.

"She is like Marilyn Monroe; there's a charm in that woman," he remarked. 

"She charms everyone," Khan added.

Fawad and Mahira ascended to fame after the 'Asher and Khirad' duo in Humsafar became household names.

Although he expressed his discomfort with the melodramatic storyline of 'Humsafar,' acknowledging it was primarily the 'paycheck' that led him to accept the widely-acclaimed drama series, he did admit that the play significantly propelled his career.

The 'Khuda Kay Liye' actor captivated fans across the border, earning immense admiration in India. He starred in the romantic comedy 'Khoobsurat,' the family drama 'Kapoor and Sons,' and the romantic musical 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.'

Discussing his future acting preferences, he maintained, “I don't want to delve into emotionally heavy roles. It drains a lot of energy, and after a while, it becomes quite irritating.”

Fawad also expressed his frustration with social media, stating his disinterest in a direct exposure of his personal life. 

He emphasised that the extensive visibility and constant availability of celebrities on social media tend to 'dilute' the essence of stardom.
