Maryam Nawaz’s Son Junaid Safdar ties the knot in Lahore ceremony

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s son, Junaid Safdar, has married Shanzeh Ali Rohail in a wedding ceremony held in Lahore, according to family sources and images shared from the event.
The nikkah and wedding festivities took place at the Sharif family’s residence in Jati Umra, Lahore, with several political figures in attendance. Shanzeh Ali Rohail is the granddaughter of senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rohail Asghar.
Photographs and videos from the ceremony circulated widely on social media, showing Junaid Safdar dressed in a bespoke off-white sherwani with a raised collar, gold button detailing, a traditional pagri and shalwar kameez. The bride was seen wearing a traditional red bridal outfit.

Several political personalities, including Prime Minister’s aide Rana Sanaullah, were visible in videos from the ceremony. The wedding events began on Friday evening with mehndi celebrations, while the valima reception is scheduled to take place on January 18.
Earlier, Junaid Safdar shared his first photograph with his bride on social media, marking the occasion. The mehndi event featured traditional décor with green-themed arrangements. For the ceremony, Safdar opted for a navy blue sherwani paired with a brown shawl.
