Renowned Pakistani actress Meera, whose real name is Irtiza Rubab, expressed her admiration for Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz.
During a press conference at the Lahore Press Club, the star praised CM Maryam's efforts for Punjab, saying that she is doing the best work for the province.
"When I see Maryam Nawaz Madam she inspires me a lot. She is very hard-working," Meera told the journalists.
She further clarified that she has no intention of entering politics and is focused on her work, especially during these challenging times of inflation.
Meera also shared updates on her upcoming projects, including the film Umrao Jaan, written by Pervez Kaleem, which is scheduled to begin filming on July 1st.
She will be starring in a thirty-episode drama titled My Dear Husband penned by renowned writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar.
When asked about her personal life, Meera tasked journalists to find a suitable husband for her.
Earlier in April, she suffered an arm fracture due to a fall while shooting for a project in Lahore.
