My kids refused to work with Coke that supports Israel: Javeria Saud

Renowned actor Javeria Saud commended her children for refusing to participate in a Coca-Cola television commercial in light of the ongoing boycott campaign targeting Israel over its onslaught on Gaza.

The actress took to Instagram to share her children's principled decision, who even persuaded their parents not to endorse products from brands supporting Israel.

“My kids refused to act in the Coke TVC, and they even convinced us not to participate in the shoot that was planned in Turkey. They didn’t want to compromise their morals by working with a company that supports Israel,” her post read. 

The Baby Baji actor quoted her children as saying that the boycott of Israeli brands is the least they could do to stand in solidarity with the Palestinians.

“Jannat and Ibrahim told us, “If we can’t do anything else, at least we can play our tiny part by boycotting.” This made me think of Surah Al-Feel. May Allah bless everyone with such honest and principled children. Ameen,” she added.

Social media praised Javeria Saud's children for their social awareness at a young age and lauded the actor's parenting for instilling such values.

The Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement aims to pressure Israel to end its occupation of Palestinian territories and respect international law. 

This movement has targeted companies operating in settlements, which are seen as a key obstacle to peace.

As the Israeli genocide in Gaza rages without consequence, people on social media are urging global celebrities to use their influence, condemn Israel and boycott its products.
