Pakistani star Iqra Aziz shared a personal anecdote about her birth, saying that her mother was not happy when she was born.

She made the revelation in an interview to a YouTube channel, Momina Mixed Plate, in 2019, but the video has been rounding on social media again.

"I have another sister who is older than me, when I was born, my mother wanted the nurse to come and tell her that she had a son, because she wanted that, she wished for it. But then I was there and Ammi wasn't really happy. Ammi was like hmmm it is fine," the Suno Chanda actress revealed.

Iqra said that the entire story was told to her by her mother.

"Ammi [mother] told me that when I was born, I was the size of a chicken leg," she added.

"But your aapi [sister] was fatter and taller than you, so it was not an easy for me to carry her, that's why I used to carry you in my lap easily," Iqra said quoting her mother. 

"This is when I got receving more love and affection from my mother," the Ranjha Ranjha Kardi star conculded.
