Renowned Pakistani actor Nabeel Zafar advised Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik's ex-wife, Sania Mirza, to remarry to get rid of her "loneliness".
The suggestion from the producer came during his recent appearance on a private news channel's show, "Mind Na Karna With Ahmad Ali Butt".
During the interview, the host and the guest played a game, named "I don't mind", in which a character asked both players their opinions on famous personalities' statements.
The co-host asked Nabeel's opinion on Sania Mirza's post, in which she advocated being alone enough in life.
At this, the Bulbulay actor advised Sania to solemnise Nikkah for the second time.
"My opinion is that if this incident [divorce] happened to anyone... a woman should do the favourite thing of Allah Nikkah," he responded.
"Life does not end at one person. I think that every person is enough for himself, but God has made this system to build a family, it is necessary that one should marry," the Dhuwan star added.
Earlier in January, the former Pakistan skipper left the nation stunned by sharing news of his second marriage with actress Sana Javed.
Later, Mirza's father, Imran Mirza, revealed that her daughter took a khula, a form of divorce sought by the wife, from ex-Pakistan cricket team all-rounder.
Sources said that Mirza was unhappy with Malik's relations with other girls but she decided to "remain silent" on this matter.
