Noor Xarmina stuns in traditional attire at Miss Universe pageant

Model Noor Xarmina exuded elegance as she adorned an embellished traditional bridal dress at the Miss Universe pageant 2024, currently underway in Mexico.

The 29-year-old Noor, recently crowned Miss Universe Pakistan, is now vying for the coveted Miss Universe title.

A preliminary competition was held yesterday (Thursday), and the grand finale is scheduled for November 16, where the next Miss Universe will be crowned.

Noor hails from Islamabad and holds an academic background in business and biology. She aspires to pursue acting and aims to highlight Pakistan's positive image on the global stage.

Previously, in an interview with Geo, she reflected on her journey to represent Pakistan as a model in the international scene and the challenges she faced.

"I was very nervous and terrified, especially after what happened last year," Noor said, referring to the controversy that arose when some organizations objected to Erica Robin representing Pakistan, and the government denied sending any model to the 72nd Miss Universe pageant.

Noor also expressed pride in her cultural roots associated with Pakistan, which cannot be changed despite her visits to several countries.

"We mostly speak Urdu at home, but lately, I've been out of touch. Some of my friends are surprised when they see me dancing to Punjabi songs and ask how I know all the 80s tracks. Well, come on! I'm a desi girl at heart."
