The Bollyood blockbuster “Animal,” starring Ranbir Kapoor and Bobby Deol, garnered attention beyond India, facing criticism for its portrayal of violence against women and masculine rage.

An additional intriguing element of the movie was the presence of UK-based Pakistani model Shafina Shah, portraying the role of Bobby Deol's character, Abrar's second wife.

Hailing from the UK with a Pakistani mother and an Indian father, Shafina follows in the footsteps of her parents, who were actors as well.

Shafina revealed that, while visiting Pakistan, a UK-based agent contacted her about the film auditions, leading to her selection for the role.
The scenes were filmed in the UK. Shafina shared a humorous incident during the shoot. In a scene where Bobby Deol's character, Abrar, slaps his wife, there was a mishap during practice, resulting in Bobby Deol accidentally hitting Shafina's nose.
She mentioned that the actor promptly apologised and ensured she was okay.
