“People think celebs are public property,” Hiba, Arez request fans not to spread false pregnancy rumours

Renowned celebrity couple Hiba Bukhari and Arez Ahmed expressed their frustration over the clickbait pregnancy rumours circulating on social media, calling them "disturbing and annoying."

In their latest YouTube vlog, the couple reacted to the false rumours related to them, aimed at tarnishing their reputation or stirring controversy.

During the vlog, Arez informed Hiba about a fake video circulating on YouTube featuring an edited picture of her lying in a hospital bed with a baby, accompanied by a misleading caption stating she had been blessed with a son.

Hiba said the news didn’t surprise her, as she had previously encountered an even more bizarre rumour claiming she had a baby just three months after her marriage.

The actress noted that people often don’t realise the impact such rumours have on celebrities. 

"People think celebrities are public property," she maintained adding that others feel entitled to spread controversy at their expense.

Earlier, host and actor Nadia Khan faced criticism after revealing, during a TV program, that Hiba and Arez were expecting, claiming the couple had shared the news with her.

However, in her latest vlog, Hiba neither directly addressed Nadia Khan's claims nor confirmed any pregnancy news.

The couple continued to criticise the false rumours, emphasising the harmful effects of such misinformation. 

They urged people to refrain from spreading these rumours and suggested exploring more constructive ways to gain recognition on social media.
